You can now get a Paraguay tax ID without being in Paraguay.

What changed: For a period, obtaining a Paraguay tax ID (RUC) remotely became difficult. Stricter rules around representation and documentation made the route slow or blocked entirely. That has largely been resolved. With a notarized Power of Attorney, apostilled documents, and a local representative, remote registration is once again possible.
